Dawn Princess Technical Details

Description of the Ship

Princess Cruise Lines describe the Dawn Princess as such:

This highly acclaimed vessel set a new standard in cruise ship design and onboard choice when it debuted in 1995. The 1,950-passenger ship rises 14 stories and measures nearly three football fields in length. Our ships may be big, but they don't feel big. That's because we used our extra space not to cram in more people but to create more small intimate places. Our deck plans offer lots of restaurants, theatres, bars, swimming pools and so on. We call it "big ship choice and small ship feel".

So much for the "Company Line," however we found that West Australian's are lucky to have such a vessel operating from our door step for over 6 months of each year to be a real complement!

The Line boasts the following features on the Sun Princess.
